  • Where are you located?

4945 Beach Ridge Rd, Lockport, NY 14094. Our two buildings sit side-by-side on the same property.

  • What are your hours?

We're open Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We're closed on most major U.S. holidays. The annual closure calendar is posted in January.

  • What ages do you serve?

    6 weeks through 12 years.

ENROLLMENT

Enrollment

  • How do I enroll?

Schedule a tour first. After the tour, we provide an enrollment packet and hold a tentative spot for 5 business days while you decide.

  • How far in advance should I enroll?

Infant care: 3–6 months ahead is normal. Toddler and preschool: 1–3 months. Kindergarten Readiness Program: enroll in the spring before the September start. Summer camp: spots fill in March.

  • Can I tour without enrolling?

Yes. There's no obligation. Most families tour 2–3 centers before deciding. 30-minute private tours run Mon–Fri 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM.

PROGRAMS

Programs

  • What's in the Kindergarten Readiness Program?

Structured letters, numbers, pre-writing, fine-motor work, and the social-skills routines kindergarten teachers actually want — turn-taking, listening, transitions, line-up. 1:8 ratio with a certified lead teacher in our purpose-built second-building classroom. Full-day wrap-around care available for working parents.

TUITION

Tuition

  • How much does it cost?

See our tuition page for current weekly rates by age group.

  • Do you accept childcare subsidies?

Yes — NY State Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) and Niagara County DSS childcare subsidies. We can walk you through the application during your tour.

  • Is there a sibling discount?

Yes. Exact percentage is confirmed during your tour and varies by program combination.

  • What does it mean that you're a Head Start program?

Head Start is the federal early-childhood program — the national standard for education, health, nutrition, and family-engagement services. As a certified Head Start program, we follow those federal standards across our classrooms, and income-eligible Niagara County families may qualify for free or reduced tuition through the program. We help you check eligibility and complete the application during your tour.

DAILY LIFE

Daily Life

  • What are your teacher-to-child ratios?

Infant 1:4, Toddler 1:5, Preschool 1:7, Pre-K 1:8, School Age 1:10. We meet or exceed every NY OCFS minimum, and real-world ratios are usually better.

  • Is food included?

Yes — breakfast, lunch, and two snacks at no additional cost. Menus are posted weekly. We accommodate common dietary restrictions and allergies.

  • What's your sick policy?

Children with a fever over 100°F, contagious illness, or two or more episodes of vomiting/diarrhea need to stay home for 24 hours after the last symptom. Full policy in the parent handbook.

  • Do you provide diapers / wipes / formula?

Diapers and wipes: families provide. Formula: families provide. Cribs and bedding: we provide.

  • Do you communicate with parents during the day?

Yes. Daily photo updates and notes for infants and toddlers. Pickups, drop-offs, meals, and naps logged in real time via the parent app.

SAFETY

Safety

  • Are your buildings secure?

Yes. Both buildings have keypad-secured entry. All staff are background-checked, CPR-certified, First Aid-certified, and Mandated Reporter trained.

  • Are the playgrounds separated by age?

Yes. We have two separate playgrounds, plus a trike track, age-appropriately divided.

  • What if there's a weather closure?

We follow Starpoint Central School District's weather closure decisions for our school-age program and most of our other programs.
