In 2005, we opened the first Kandyland Kids building on Beach Ridge Road. Lockport had plenty of childcare options. It didn't have many that took the science of early childhood education seriously and still felt like a real, warm place.

Twenty-one years later, we've added a second building. We've built our own Kindergarten Readiness Program for 4- and 5-year-olds, and partnered with the Starpoint Central School District to run school-bus pickup for our school-age families. We've added music with Bloomiverse, dance with Amazin Grace, gymnastics with Flips, and an enrichment lineup that other centers in the area still don't match. The same families who enrolled their oldest now bring us their youngest.

Most of all, we've built something hard to copy: a team that stays. Teachers who know your child's name on day three. A director who picks up the phone. Two buildings full of kids who walk in like they own the place — because, in a way, they do.
